London's Millenium Dome cost around £750 million to build and was the centrepiece of the UK's millennium celebrations. It was built in Greenwich as this is where the concept of a central time was invented - Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

The exhibition was closed on 31st December 2000 and the site is now being transformed into a high-tech business park.
