The Tower of London is guarded by the celebrated Beefeaters and visitors are able to see the priceless Crown Jewels, Traitors' Gate and the famous black ravens. Over the centuries this amazing building has been a fortress, palace, prison and even a zoo.
The medieval part of the Tower has been carefully restored and is brought alive by costumed guides. There are exhibitions, including armour and swords - you can even visit the spot where Henry VIII's wife, Anne Boleyn, was beheaded.
